| Toastmaster: The person who leads the meeting, responsible for the overall meeting Timer: Responsible for keeping track of time (during speeches & and throughout the meeting) Ah Counter: Counts unnecessary words and/or nervous pause fillers, such as ah, em, er, etc. Word Master: Introduces a new word for participants to enjoy. Speakers should try to integrate the word into their speeches or table topics Joke Master: Entertains & introduces a joke of the day Speeches 1, 2 & 3: Presents a prepared speech in front of participants (memorize or use flash cards!) Table Topics: Asks members short topical questions that require speakers to talk for 1-2 minutes without any previous preparation on a variety of different subjects Master Evaluator: Introduces Evaluators 1, 2 & 3, solicits reports from Ah Counter, Grammarian, and Timer, then provides an overall evaluation of the meeting's highlights and points out areas for improvement. Evaluators 1, 2 & 3: Conduct evaluation for speakers 1, 2, and 3 |
